On its BMW Group Future Experience Tour 2016, the company demonstrated the strength of its vision with its four VISION NEXT 100 vehicles.
CENTENARY EVENT IN MUNICH
100 years of Bayerische Motoren Werke - BMW. Ever since it was founded in 1916, the BMW Group has played an important role in shaping the future of mobility. That is why, in the year of its centenary, the BMW Group set its sights firmly on the future, looking ahead to the next 100 years.
On 7 March 2016 – one hundred years to the day since what’s now known as BMW AG was first entered into the commercial register – the BMW Group officially launched its centenary celebrations.
At the Centenary Event in the Munich Olympic Hall, 2,000 guests experienced a spectacular multimedia show that took them on a journey through important moments in the company's history, all the way to its current interpretation of the premium mobility of tomorrow.
A particular highlight was the world premiere of the BMW VISION NEXT 100, the Vision Vehicle for the BMW brand.
BMW GROUP FUTURE EXPERIENCE TOUR 2016 IN BEIJING
The second impulse came from Beijing, with the world premiere of the BMW Group Future Experience Tour 2016 - a multifaceted and inspiring look ahead to future trends that will affect not only the automotive industry, but all areas of everyday life.
The interactive exhibition provided visitors with a glimpse of future challenges and opportunities for the coming decades.
The BMW VISION NEXT 100 also made its Asian debut in Beijing.
BMW GROUP FUTURE EXPERIENCE TOUR 2016 IN LONDON
The second stop on the BMW Group Future Experience Tour 2016 was London. The event provided a platform for the premieres of two more BMW Group Vision Vehicles: the MINI VISION NEXT 100 and the Rolls-Royce VISION NEXT 100.
London also hosted the first rad°hub - a new format created to explore and design the future of mobility. The aim is to find common solutions to the challenges of the future.
BMW GROUP FUTURE EXPERIENCE TOUR 2016 IN LOS ANGELES
Showdown in California: After Munich, Beijing and London, the BMW Group Future Experience Tour 2016 made a guest appearance in Los Angeles.
Following the VISION NEXT 100 vehicles from BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, the BMW Group took this opportunity to present the future of premium mobility on two wheels: the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100.
